The Arts Commission’s purpose is to foster the growth of the arts in Auburn through the presentation of various arts programs, community initiatives and program partnerships. Through a shared vision, leadership and service, the Auburn Arts Commission’s goal is to integrate the arts into all aspects of community life.
Auburn Valley Creative Arts (AVCA) is a non profit organization that provides area artists with an opportunity to network, take classes, display and sell their work. AVCA interacts with diverse communities within the greater Auburn area providing cultural enrichment , educational opportunities, workshops, Art Walks, and juried shows .
A unique community theatre, on the campus of Green River Community College, Heavier Than Air Family Theatre brings quality family theatre to the area through the combined use of professional, local actors and children.
The Interurban Center for the Arts is an arts service organization sponsored by Green River Community College Foundation. The Center performs a variety of arts activities correlated with its Interurban Art Docent Program. Several local elementary schools have the program through their PTSA organizations. The Center provides master art prints, research information, and low to no cost classes for parent school art docent volunteers. The Center provides resource information and support for the program in over thirty-two local elementary schools. This low cost program is the answer to arts education for your children.
The Neely Mansion is listed on the National Register for Historic Places, the Washington State Register, and is also a designated King County Landmark. It was constructed from 1891-94 by Aaron and David Neely and is a fine example of Victorian classic revival architecture. The Neely family only lived in the home for a short time. After that it was leased to Swiss dairy farmers, Japanese and Filipino farmers through the years. Many people in the valley remember it for the “haunted house” events, but they were conducted for only a few years.
Pacific Ballroom Dance builds character in youth by providing a positive ballroom dance experience. Our values promote inclusiveness, dedication, leadership, teamwork, fitness, respect, and excellence. Our vision is to provide youth with a positive artistic, social and athletic experience in order to help them be productive community members.
A youth band for Puget Sound musicians ages fourteen to twenty-one. Membership is by audition. University of Puget Sound is the rehearsal and concert site. PSYWE conductor Gerard Morris is also the Director of Bands at the University of Puget Sound.

The Soos Creek Botanical Garden provides a diversity of gardens for the public to enjoy, including inspirational gardens based upon international, regional, and historical gardens, while providing education and conservation of horticulture, the environment, and history.
Whether you walk through a pioneer cabin, climb aboard a caboose and play in a one-room school, the award-winning White River Valley Museum presents history in a fun and involving way. Permanent exhibits focus on the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe, pioneer life, immigration from Europe and Japan, truck farming, railroading and the building of towns throughout the area. Temporary exhibits change three times a year, family fun programs are offered throughout the year, and slide shows on railroading history hold train buffs entranced!
