Breeders Theater provides live theatrical entertainment (adult humor, no profanity) in a variety of settings, primarily E.B. Foote Winery in Burien, in January and March. Breeders Theater’s goal is to make you laugh, make you think, and entertain you at a reasonable price.
The Moshier Community Art Center, 430 S 156th in Burien, is one of Puget Sound’s hidden gems. Located in Burien, the art center provides a fully equipped ceramics studio for students from beginner to advanced skill levels. Each session we offer art classes for all ages including classes in ceramics, painting, drawing, mosaics, book arts, sculpture and more! Also available are 24-hour access studio spaces for ceramic artists and art classes for adults and teens with disabilities.
The City of Burien’s Arts Commission promotes and nurtures the arts as an essential component of City life. The Commission focuses on development of Public Art and Arts Education while also providing annual Downtown Art Walks, Summer Outdoor Concerts, City Hall art exhibits and support for Burien’s nonprofit arts organizations.
Burien Arts provides local, public access to the visual and performing arts for citizens of southwest King County. Many of the programs are free and appeal to all ages including the July and August Shakespeare in the Park performances, the annual Burien Strawberry Festival activities in June, a fall juried art show, and a visual arts event: Vision 20/20 in November. The annual Classic Jazz Festival in February is one of the few programs for which a modest fee is charged.

Momentum is dedicated to providing professional music and dance instruction to students of all ages. Participants build technique, self-confidence and much more in a positive and nurturing environment.
This Burien-based choral program sponsors several choirs: ChoralSounds, KidSounds, YouthSounds, TeenSounds, and now SilverSounds Northwest! Concerts combine clever dialogue and staging with great singing and dancing to create fun shows appealing to the entire family. Free Youth Ticket Program.
The Northwest Symphony Orchestra is a nationally-recognized community orchestra which performs in Burien at the Highline Performing Arts Center under the baton of Dr. Anthony Spain. The NWSO has performed over 100 works by Northwest composers, including 37 world premieres.
The Hi-Liners Inc is a Youth Theater program dedicated to teaching and advancing the performing arts (theater, music, dance) for the young people of South King County. We have been putting kids DownStage Center since 1966.
Our nonprofit (The White Center Jubilee Days Festival) organizes and funds a week-long community festival in White Center, WA. We are a 100% volunteer, Seafair-sanctioned event. Our Festival includes a garden tour, golf tournament, carnival, fireworks, roller skating, bowling & food drive, pancake breakfast, car show, street fair (with craft, art, food, farm, non-profit and commercial booths), two stages featuring local entertainment for all ages and a street dance. It is a free festival.
