Ensemble Ballet Theatre, a youth ballet company located in Maple Valley, Washington, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the cultural enrichment of the community through dance arts. Under the artistic direction of Kimberly Wooten, EBT performs two large-scale productions each year at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center. The Nutcracker is showcased annually in December, and in the spring, EBT dancers perform exciting, original new works and repertory.
The Creative Arts Center gallery, stage and studio serve to promote the arts in a viewing, teaching and performing venue. Visual art, theater, music, spoken and written word and dance.
The Maple Valley Historical Society is preserving the history of the Maple Valley, Hobart, Taylor, and Ravensdale areas. The Society has three museums depicting what life has been like in the area.
Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra-based music education program with playing groups for every level of player from beginning to advanced. The mission of the MVYSO is this: “As the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, we will enlighten the minds of young musicians, embrace creativity, achieve excellence, nurture talents, and give back to the community. Throughout this experience, we will encourage develeopment of a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, & fun.”
