Auburn Symphony Orchestra

The Auburn Symphony Orchestra is one of the more astonishing stories in the Seattle-area music world during the past decade, raves the Seattle P-I. Led by music director Stewart Kershaw, the Auburn Symphony (many of whose musicians also play in the Pacific Northwest Ballet orchestra) began as a fully professional orchestra in 1996 and performs a caliber of music that draws audiences from throughout the Puget Sound.

Aunt Dottie’s Sing-along Cabaret

This ain’t your mama’s cabaret! Nope, this is a raucous, rowdy interactive show that’s different every time. Aunt Dottie and her Nephew Aaron bring their unique brand of entertainment to this all-requests cabaret full of pop, rock, laughs, and surprises. You never know what will happen at Aunt Dottie’s Cabaret!

Cascade Foothills Chorale

The Plateau’s choir since 1976.  An adult SATB chorale that performs two major concerts per season. No auditions required to join. $40 dues for each spring & fall concert. Fun-laughter-music! Come join us!

Federal Way Chorale

Since 1993, the Federal Way Chorale has distinguished itself through dynamic performances and professional presentation of demanding choral literature.  An exciting and fun group with approximately 70 members, and two major concerts each year, anyone who loves to sing is encouraged to audition!

Gateway Concert Band

Great Western Community Concert Association

Great Western Community Concert Association is dedicated to bringing high quality “vintage” music to the area at affordable prices.  We provide discounted tickets for low-income seniors and subsidized tickets for the developmentally disabled.

Harmony Kings Barbershop Chorus

The Harmony Kings are a group of about 50 gentlemen who love to sing everything from the old standards to the Beach Boys and the Beatles.

Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra

Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra-based music education program with playing groups for every level of player from beginning to advanced. The mission of the MVYSO is this: “As the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, we will enlighten the minds of young musicians, embrace creativity, achieve excellence, nurture talents, and give back to the community. Throughout this experience, we will encourage develeopment of a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, & fun.”

Northwest Associated Arts

This Burien-based choral program sponsors several choirs: ChoralSounds, KidSounds, YouthSounds, TeenSounds, and now SilverSounds Northwest!  Concerts combine clever dialogue and staging with great singing and dancing to create fun shows appealing to the entire family.  Free Youth Ticket Program.

Northwest Symphony Orchestra

The Northwest Symphony Orchestra is a nationally-recognized community orchestra which performs in Burien at the Highline Performing Arts Center under the baton of Dr. Anthony Spain.  The NWSO has performed over 100 works by Northwest composers, including 37 world premieres.

Rainier Chorale

Rainier Chorale is an 80 voice community chorus based in Kent. Under the direction of Ron Bayer we are entering our 25th season of celebrating good music.

Rainier Symphony

Rainier Youth Choirs

RYC offers an exceptional and affordable children’s and youth choir music education and performance program for boys and girls. Chorus levels available for singers grades 4 through college.

 

South King County Music Teachers Association

South King County Music Teachers Association is affiliated with Music Teachers National Association, as well as Washington State Music Teachers Association. For the most part, members are independent studio music teachers with expertise in various instruments and voice. Our vision is to advance the value of music study and music making in society and to support the professionalism of music teachers.

Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association

WOTFA is a non-profit organization formed to preserve and promote old time fiddling and related arts.  Join King County District 6 for playing and listening activities described on our web site.  WOTFA small groups play for nursing and retirement homes and other civic functions.
