20 Under 20 is an annual exhibition showcasing young artists from the Puget Sound area. This exhibition is designed to feature youth ages 13 – 19 as emerging artists, and is juried by the Teen Arts Council in collaboration with Bellevue Arts Museum curators. 20 Under 20 is an exciting opportunity to display work in a public and professional space, and showcases a range of artistic media highlighting some of the best talent of the next generation of artists and craftspeople.

This year’s Teen Arts Council wants to know: what does liberation mean to you? Over the past year, our global community has been thrown into chaos as issues around racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, climate change, and structural weaknesses in our healthcare system have grown increasingly urgent. Together, communities, organizations, and individuals have worked to fight against oppression while being forced to stay at home and socially distance. This year, our annual teen-made and –curated exhibition seeks to show how Puget Sound area teens have participated in, reflected upon, and redefined liberation in this historical moment.

This exhibition is designed to feature youth ages 13 – 19 as emerging artists and is juried by the Teen Arts Council in collaboration with Bellevue Arts Museum curators. This exhibition is an exciting opportunity to display work in a public and professional space and will showcase a range of artistic media highlighting some of the best talent of the next generation of artists and craftspeople.
