FUN & FAREWELL MEETING FOR WRITERS AND AUTHORS

After 25 years of fostering critique groups, supporting publications, and nurturing writers in our community, the Plateau Area Writers Association will be closing its doors. Sustaining officer roles and organizational efforts has become increasingly challenging, and at our September meeting, members voted to conclude our work as an umbrella organization.

Join us for our final meeting on Tuesday, December 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Green River Community College building in Enumclaw. This gathering will be a festive celebration—a chance to share your books for sale (our usual Christmas tradition), enjoy coffee or tea, connect with fellow writers, and perhaps make new friends.

Come with a kind and generous spirit, and leave inspired to continue writing your stories. Let’s celebrate our community, our creativity, and the many years of shared passion for the written word.
