Events throughout the summer

The City of Auburn seeks possible volunteers, or paid helpers at $15 per hour, for our summer event ArtRageous activities. It is a fun community-oriented arts opportunity with no prior art experience required! Helpers would work with a lead artist and assist as needed with the community as they make fun art and craft projects at the following events.

Festivals (large scale festivals with 10,000 – 15,000 Estimated Attendance) Seeking 8 volunteers at each of these large scale festivals:

  • Petpalooza, Saturday, May 19, 10 am – 5 pm, Game Farm Park
  • Kids Day, Friday, June 22, 11 -4 pm, Les Gove Park
  • AuburnFest – Saturday, August 11, 11 am – 7 pm, Les Gove Park

Park Programs (200- 600 Estimated attendance) Seeking 2 volunteers for each event

  • Kids Summer Stage, Wednesdays, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8 and August 15, 11 – 2 pm, Les Gove Park (Kids ages 2-5)
  • Summer Sounds and Cinema (Family audiences)
  • Friday, July 27, 6-8:30pm at Lea Hill
  • Friday, Aug. 3, 6-8:30pm at Sunset Park
  • Friday, Aug. 10, 6-8:30pm at Les Gove Park
  • Farmers Market, Sunday, August 19, 10 – 3 pm, Les Gove Park (All Ages)
