Arts Uplift Conference

The Arts Uplift! conference brings together early learning educators, arts specialists, teaching artists, counselors, administrators, and caregivers working to expand accessible arts instruction in their communities. Participants gain tools for their own creative growth and teaching practices.

Featured presenters include:

  • James Miles, Arts, Education, and Leadership Change Maker
  • Mike Browne, Senior Director for Community Engagement at Cultivate Learning at the University of Washington
  • Dr. Amir Gilmore, Equity and Inclusion for Student Success and Retention at Washington State University
  • Rhoda Bernard, Managing Director of the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs
  • Liz Byron, Classroom educator and author of Art for All: Planning for Variability in the Visual Art Classroom
  • Khaleshia Thorpe-Price, from Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts
  • Rebecca Lynn, OSPI Special Education Program Supervisor
  • Ray Soriano, MSW, music and drumming teaching artist
