Inviting submissions for The Madrona Project Volume II Number 2, edited by Michael Daley.
Projected publication date: November 1, 2021.
The theme for this issue is taken from Empty Bowl’s Mission Statement: human communities in wild places. This theme represents the principles and practices of poets, authors and artists who see responding to the world around us as an inescapable responsibility. It embraces active poetry that both observes and enters wild places, and joins with others to nourish a culture aware of its dependence on the place where we live; it includes poetry of environmental and social justice, health, peace, planting and growing, walking and seeing. Not to mention the sounds of children’s voices under the trees.
