Inspire Washington
Dates: 1/11-13/2022

Cultural Congress is a gathering for a diverse array of people in Washington’s cultural sector which will elevate science, heritage, and the arts for all and provide rich cross-cultural conversations. From STEM-focused storytelling to Understanding Critical Race Theory through the Arts, we have an engaging lineup of sessions for attendees to choose from at this year’s Cultural Congress.

Among the presenters, Kaitlin Casimo, PhD, is a science communicator and neuroscientist who will talk about telling stories with science. And James Miles, CEO of Mentor Washington, will join forces with Heleya de Barras, co-director of Arts Education at ArtsCorps, to discuss how to understand critical race theory through the arts. Visit Inspire WA’s registration page to view our growing panel of speakers.

To ensure that Cultural Congress is accessible to all people, no one will be turned away because they can’t afford to attend. Therefore, Inspire WA has made both partial and full scholarships available. Apply for a scholarship HERE – the deadline to apply is January 3, 2022.
