A Country to Come Home To -Motherland Poems with Troy Osaki

This evening of poetry comes to you via Zoom and is sponsored by the Highline Heritage Museum.

Troy Osaki is a Filipino-Japanese poet, community organizer and attorney. A three-time grand slam poetry champion, he has earned fellowships form Kundiman and the Jack Straw Cultural Center. His work has appeared in the Beloit Poetry Journal, Blood Orange Review, Hobart, Poetry Northwest, Tinderbox Poetry Journal and elsewhere.

Troy will present writing exercises and poems, to help reimagine our homelands as truly liberated and the world free for all people.
