A World Tour – Federal Way Symphony

Spanning four centuries and three continents, “A World Tour” will feature an orchestral concerto by Antonio Vivaldi, Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 84 and the Northwest premiere of Robert Bassett’s Lodore. Accordion soloist Jamie Maschler will join the orchestra for three tangos by Astor Piazzolla. Click here to purchase tickets.

The program will highlight the Northwest premiere of Robert Bassett’s Lodore. Bob received his BFA and MFA and began a career as a professional pianist. An opportunity to attend law school led to a 20+ year career in international resources law that took him around the world. Upon retirement, he returned to the world of music, focusing on composing. Lodore celebrates the beauty of Bob’s native Colorado, especially the “Gates of Lodore” on the Green River.
