Auburn Adventure Film Festival – Auburn Ave Theater

An adventure can take form in many different lenses, whether it is in the world of travel, sports, photography, culinary arts, nature, and relationships. The Auburn Adventure Film Festival is designed to showcase perspectives that will engage the audience by letting them be a part of the adventure.

Destination Inspiration | 7:00-8:30pm

When things seem like they can’t get any worse, there’s always a way to find inspiration to make them better. Check out how these filmmakers were inspired by their adventures. Single block ticket: $10

  • Big World – A father and his son embarked on a long week of stand-up paddleboating down the Karnali and Bheri Rivers in Western Nepal.

  • Wild Toddler Chronicles: Legacy – Two parents set out to retrace the route of an old adventure. With a two-year old in tow, hoping to inspire the next generation to care about wild places.

  • The Mighty Finn – Finn, born without half his brain and living with cerebral palsy is one of the most joyful people you’ll ever meet. Learn how his parents let go of expectations and helped him find happiness even as they grapple with what the future may bring.

  • The Creative Process – Spencer Fochtman and Dan Worden traverse Southern Oregon in search of capturing the perfect shot.

  • Broken – A girl embarks on an ultra marathon. Her struggle and journey is captured as she is completing the race.

  • Will to Live: The Gary Edinger Story – Solo independent logger, Gary Edinger, was critically injured and twenty miles from help, alone, and in forty below temperatures. Learn how Gary summons a remarkable willpower to survive and how he does it.

  • Blue – Join in the fantastical journey of a four year olds imagination. Fresh out of training wheels we dive into her work of fantasy exploring mountains, glaciers, and rivers.

  • Building Bridges: Narrative – Two hot air balloons circling each other as if dancing together while someone is walking between them on a thin connecting line.

  • Building Bridges: Documentary – Filming a dangerous stunt as weather jeopardizes the chance of our characters. Come and learn what humans are capable of.
