Auburn’s Historic Downtown again brings Northwest artists who will display and sell their original handmade quality paintings, photography, sculptures, and wearable art work in downtown businesses. Auburn’s Art Walk and Wine Tasting spring event will be an evening filled with local artists, music, fine wines, in downtown businesses 5:30 – 8:30 pm, May 11, 2018. This year we’re bringing in three local breweries for tasting: HalfLion, Scamp, and Geaux.
The day of the event, a walking map, tasting tickets, custom glass and age verification will be provided at the day of event at the information booths at Plaza Park on Main Street across from City Hall and the parking lot at the corner of East D and Main Streets.
Music will fill the air with funk, folk, rock, and classical tunes – creating sounds for everyone’s taste. Zola’s Cafe, we’ll welcome back Makaela and Bronson Bragg. Two other locations will host music: Corestar Pilates and the Auburn Valley Creative Arts gallery. Local singer Leify Green at Corestar Pilates playing a mix of tunes you know and some originals. Pull up a chair and enjoy the music and look at local artist’s artwork. Additionally, members of the Auburn Symphony will perform at Auburn Valley Creative Arts’ gallery. These professional musicians take the night to step into the gallery where artwork from over 20 artists will be on display.
