Summer 2025 | Free Outdoor Performances in Local Parks

BAT Theatre takes it to the parks in summer 2025 with The Guardsman, a romantic comedy full of wit, disguise, and emotional twists. A popular actor suspects his new actress wife is growing restless, so he takes on his most daring role yet—disguising himself as a charming guardsman to test her loyalty. What follows is a whirlwind of romance, confusion, and nearly torpedoed trust.

This family-friendly production is free to attend and perfect for a summer evening out.

Bring a blanket or chair for seating, and consider supporting local eateries by making it a dinner-and-a-show experience. Bring takeout to the park, or dine out before or after the performance.

Run time is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
