Read The Hidden Life of Trees ahead of time: Forester Peter Wohlleben shares fascinating stories, supported by the latest scientific research, that reveal the extraordinary world of forests and how trees communicate and care for each other.

Program: On July 14, come discuss the book with ecologist and restoration specialist Daniel Sorenson, who will share personal reflections on the emotional connections we have with places and plants. Program includes an optional walk in the Nature Preserve’s beautiful 5,000-year-old peat bog. Participants encouraged to bring a picnic lunch.
