Summer Outdoor Theatre Series
- August 2 and 3 at Soos Creek Botanical Garden & Heritage Center
- August 9 and 10 at Lake Wilderness Arboretum
- August 17 at Covington Community Park
Emerald Theatre invites you to enjoy Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest in beautiful local parks and gardens, in partnership with community organizations. This witty satire follows the misadventures of two bachelors—Jack and Algernon—who both pretend to be “Ernest” to escape their responsibilities and win over their love interests. What follows is a delightful tangle of mistaken identities, romantic confusion, and sharp social commentary.
Don’t miss this free, family-friendly evening of laughter and literary charm under the summer sky! General admission is $20.
