Engaging Trees Speaker Series – Program 2 – A Natural and Cultural History Hike Through Trees

Jim Demetre, local writer and tree enthusiast, will be leading a public tour along Des Moines Creek to the shore of Puget Sound. Through his observations, he hopes to link the natural and cultural history of Washington’s “Waterland City.” Spanish language interpretation available.
This program is the second in a three-part Engaging Trees series curated by SoCoCulture. It is made possible with an Airport Communities Ecology Fund grant from the Port of Seattle, the fiscal sponsorship of the Highline Heritage Museum, and support from 4Culture.
Meet at the Des Moines Creek Trailhead, 2151 S 200th Street, SeaTac (Overflow parking is available at the Angle Lake Light Rail Station Garage.)
