Engaging Trees Speaker Series – Program 3 – Seattle Times reporter Lynda Mapes on What People Can Learn From Trees

November 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Seattle Times environmental reporter, and author of “Witness Tree,” Lynda Mapes will give a talk on her year researching an oak tree, what she learned, and how it affected how she looks at the landscape today.

This is the final program in a three-part Engaging Trees series curated by SoCoCulture. It is made possible with an Airport Communities Ecology Fund grant from the Port of Seattle, the fiscal sponsorship of the Highline Heritage Museum, and support from 4Culture.

Special thanks to the Highline Heritage Museum, the Burien Library and KCLS for hosting this program.
