Hamilton: The Musical that Helped Find the Forgotten Founding Father – Covington Library –

June 16 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

Who was Hamilton? Why did the Hamilton, The Musical influence a major U.S. Treasury Department decision in 2015? When was Hamilton’s legacy ‘buried’ and how was it ‘uncovered’ over 200 years later? What caused the US Capital to move from New York to a district created near Virginia on the shores of the Potomac River? How did a fledgling new nation become a global superpower so quickly?

Find out answers to these and other questions during an exciting workshop presented by Helena Reynolds, Parks Program Coordinator, City of Kent.

NOTE: This educational program is sponsored by the King County Library Adult Services Department and is not affiliated with the Hamilton, an American Musical Production.

Political discussions will not be included.
