IN-PERSON SoCoCulture Membership Meeting – Maximizing Positive Media Exposure in South King County

Please plan to join us! This will be an in-person meeting at Key to Change Studio in Renton, where you can meet and mingle with many of your cultural colleagues from around South King County.

Dr. Quinton Morris will tell us more about his mission to remove the barriers that prevent underserved students and students of color in South King County from receiving excellent classical music instruction, and the Renton Municipal Arts Commission will fill us in on some of the exciting new initiatives they’ve been pursuing.

Then we’ll host a panel discussion that will focus on how cultural organizations can maximize the media exposure they get in South King County. Our guest panelists will include Scott Schaefer at South King Media, Olivia Sullivan at Federal Way Mirror/Sound Publishing, and Meagan McGuire and Christy Maggio at Seattle Southside.
