Kapa Wauke: Making Hawaiian Tapa Cloth

Join an exploration of the Hawaiian Art of Kapa (bark cloth) and learn how Native Hawaiians are protecting this complex art form from extinction. Get a deeper understanding of Hawaiian Arts and Culture and create your own Kapa-inspired piece of art to take home.

Facilitated by Malia Peoples, a Native Hawaiian textile artist and fashion designer. Supplies included.
