CANCELED – Lloyd Herman – The Accidental Curator – Highline Heritage Museum

January 29 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free program.

Sorry to report that due to the rise of the Omicron variant, this event has been cancelled for the time being. As the public health outlook becomes brighter in the coming months, look for the Museum to announce new programming.

Join us for a film viewing and a conversation with the founding director of the nation’s Craft museum, The Renwick Gallery, which opened 50 years ago this month. Lloyd Herman’s dream began in 1968 – he wanted to dedicate a building near the White House as a center for changing exhibitions on craft, design and the decorative arts. The Renwick Gallery opened in January, 1972.

Face mask and proof of vaccination or negative COVID test required – and advance RSVP is appreciated. Contact director@highlinemuseum.org
