Second Chances – Retribution and Reform – Green River College 2020-2021 One Book Conversation

Featuring guest Jeremiah Bourgeois, Journalist, Legal Scholar and Advocate for Criminal Justice Reform. In 1993, Jeremiah Bourgeois was sentenced to life in prison without parole for a crime he committed as a fourteen-year-old. Join us as Mr. Bourgeois talks about the path that led to his twenty-seven years of incarceration, his ultimate transformation and release from confinement, and his trials and triumphs during the reentry process. Mr. Bourgeois is currently earning his Law Degree at Gonzaga University and is an advocate for criminal justice reform.
