“Tempests in Teapots” at the Kent Historical Museum

October 19 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

The Boston Tea Party wasn’t the only tea=related event that sparked a revolution 250 years ago! Join presenter Barbara McMichael at the Renton History Museum for “Tempests in Teapots,” an engaging, interactive history presentation and tea-tasting event that will shed light on how a simple temperance beverage – and all the people who loved to drink it – raised tempers enough to brew a revolution. Space is limited; advance registration is required.

Appropriate for ages 13 and up.
