West Hylebos Wetlands Native Plant Walk and Historic Cabins Visit

The Historical Society of Federal Way, the City of Federal Way, and the King County Library System Foundation are providing some outdoor fun for all ages! From May 1-29, you can pick up a free West Hylebos Wetlands Native Plant Walk & Kit at either the Federal Way Library (34200 1st Way S) or the Federal Way 320th Library (848 S 320th Street) – registration is not required. The kit contains a native plant coloring book, a colored pencil set, a treasure hunt map and stickers. You can visit the beautiful West Hylebos Wetlands Park any day, but on Saturday, May 8, from Noon – 4 PM, the Historical Society of Federal Way will open up the historic cabins for viewing, so you can enjoy those as well as a tour of the wetlands!
