Art is vital to building a child’s self-confidence by developing problem solving skills and nurturing creative thinking. The Green River College Foundation’s Interurban Center for The Arts (ICA) provides local elementary schools with a diverse and equitable arts education curriculum through the help of parent and adult volunteers. The ICA provides art docent volunteers with training, educational materials, and monthly workshops to help them succeed in the classroom.
