Auburn School District
Open until filled

The Auburn School District #408 is seeking qualified and experienced Theatre Technicians to join our team at our 950-seat Auburn Performing Arts Center (at Auburn High School), along with its two smaller (400 seat) theatres at Auburn Riverside and Auburn Mountainview high schools. Theatre technicians should have experience in Light Board operation, Sound Board operation, and Flyrail operation for live productions— particularly with experience on the ETC ION and the YAMAHA CL5. Paid ‘shadowing’ and training is often provided to help facilitate new technical skills.

If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, we are eager to hear from you! Part-time LEAD & STAGE Technician positions are currently open until filled. ($13.82-$19.29/hr D.O.E.) Apply here.

The beautiful and newly renovated Auburn PAC has been back in full operational mode since 2015 when it reopened its doors after a 2 year closure for upgrades to existing infrastructure, lighting, sound, stage, rigging, seating, and much more. Our state-of-the-art facilities accommodate school, community, regional, and national events. We work closely with our high schools’ Theatre Production classes to train students in all areas of Technical Theatre. The students work side by side in assisting adult crews with shows. We are interested in hiring more qualified part-time Theatre Technicians who are eager to be a part of a fun and collaborative team that helps to support our numerous theatre programs and events.

For 36 years we have prided ourselves on being educational facilities that provide a highly professional level of event and technical support. All three theatres are already heavily booked for the 2017-18 season.

If you have questions, please contact Pam Smith, Auburn Performing Arts Center Managing Director.
