Open Auditions for Humbug

Renton Civic Theatre
Dates: 8/7-8/2022

Curt Hetheringto will be directing “Humbug,” by John Wooten. Auditions will take place at the Renton Civic Theatre, 507 S Third Street in Renton and will happen on Sunday, August 7, 7-10 PM and Monday, August 8, 7-10 PM. Call backs will be on Wednesday, August 1-, 7-10 PM.

The roles include:

Eleanor Scrooge age 40-50
Bobbie Cratchit age 30-40
Carloer#1/Ghost Present age 30-40
Caroler #2/Ellie/Lisa age 20-30
Caroler#3/Tug/Bill/Benson age 30-40
Caroler#4/Past/Juan age 20-30
Ben/Jacob Marley/Gravedigger age 40-50
Phil age 20-25
John/Robert/Future age 30-40
Sarah/Nurse/Nellie age 20-30
Tess/Carla age 20-30
Young Phil/Timmy age 8-10

Show dates will be Thursday through Sunday, December 2 through December 17, There will be 10 performances in all. A stipend of $125 is paid to all actors in the production.

To schedule an audition time, e-mail your requested time to auditions@rentoncivictheatre.org. Please prepare a 1 – 2 minute monoluge of your choice and a short Christmas Carol of your choice to be sung a capella. Please bring and provide a headshot and resume for the audition. All roles are open. RCT encourages anyone who is interested to audition and is always eager to welcome new faces and fresh talent to its stage.
