Open 4Culture

4Culture
Deadline: six weeks before public event

4Culture recognizes a need for an entry point into 4Culture’s funding opportunities. Open 4Culture provides awards of up to $1,500 for projects that are created by or for underserved communities of King County, and are not served by other 4Culture programs.

Projects created by or for underserved communities, including groups and individuals that may not have equitable access to the arts, heritage or preservation opportunities, due to income, geography, age, physical abilities, race or ethnicity may be eligible for Open 4Culture. Proposed projects must substantially include the arts, historic preservation or King County heritage; offer an event or presentation that is open to the public; and if an art project, be created and presented outside of the City of Seattle.

Open 4Culture has no deadline, but you must submit your application at least six-weeks before your public event/presentation in order for us to process and review your application. Contact Deb Twersky, 206-205-8558 or Debra.Twersky@4culture.org for more information.
