Hailing originally from Fontana, California, LeMoine paints with acrylics and photographs nature subjects such as animals, landscapes, mountains and sunsets. She often paints from her own photographs. She enjoys doing pet portraits as well. She also paints abstracts.
LeMoine’s mother noticed her talent at a young age and enrolled her in oil painting lessons. LeMoine had her first solo exhibit as a teen in Malibu, California. She received an A.A. in Fine Arts from Santa Monica College in 1985. She has lived and painted in California, Oregon, Ohio and Washington.
“I stopped painting for over a decade to raise my son and concentrate on my massage business,” LeMoine said. “I have returned to painting and photography with a new passion. I am free from the stress of the world when I am creating art. I hope my paintings and photographs bless and inspire you.”
LeMoine is owner-operator of Shining Star Massage Therapy in Des Moines where she lives. She is a member of the Artists United Club, a local artists group.
