City of Covington
Open until filled

The City of Covington is seeking art enthusiasts to apply for open Arts Commission positions.  Now is your chance to join this group of concerned and dedicated citizens who play a significant role in city government. There are currently three openings on the Arts Commission for citizens who want to be advocates, proactive participants, and leaders in Covington’s art awareness and growth.  For an overview of the arts programming in Covington, visit our Public Art Page.

Art Commissioners serve the city as advisors to the City Council in matters of art and coordinate various art programs and events in the city.  Commission members participate in advisory, advocacy, and planning activities related to the arts.

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.  Commission Members are also expected to occasionally attend other events and participate in identified volunteer activities and community events.

Serving on the Arts Commission is a fun and rewarding experience!  If you would like to exercise your creativity, serve your community, and promote art in Covington, please complete an application.  If you are interested in applying for an open commission position, please complete the Commission Application.
