Working Washington Grant – Round 5

Washington Department of Commerce
Application window EXTENDED: 8/17-9/9/2022

$45 million has been set aside for the cultural sector in Washington State – if you’re a small business (including sole proprietors) or organization that has been affected by the pandemic, you may be eligible for some of this funding.

Here is the information on this grant that is currently being provided by the Department of Commerce. Find the FAQ doc here.

To prepare in advance, please note that recipients of these grants (which derive from federal funds) are required to have a UEI (Unique Entity Identifier). A DUNS number will no longer be accepted. If you don’t have a UEI number yet, APPLY NOW. While you can apply for this Working WA grant without a UEI number, you will not receive the funding until you can demonstrate that you have the UEI number.

If you run an organization serving BIPOC, LGBTQ+ folks, rural areas, disabled folks, or any other community and you want to help amplify the funding program, please let us know. You can sign up now to be a co-host or request an event in your community. Or, perhaps, there’s someone in your network that you think we should be talking to. Let’s all work together to get the word out.
