Auburn City Hall Gallery
Artist Kate Dougherty creates beautiful encaustic artworks that reflect her interests in “architecture and the environment, developing a relationship between structure, nature and culture as a universal landscape.”
Julia Szten will be featuring figurative clay sculptures, the artist often drawing her inspiration from “Japanese woodblock prints, the patterned polychrome pottery of the Southwest and the calligraphic line and interlocking shapes of the Pacific Northwest tribes as well as Art Nouveau.”
This art installation is coordinated through the City of Auburn, Parks, Arts & Recreation Department and with the support of the Auburn Arts Commission. Auburn City Hall Gallery is located at 25 W Main Street, Auburn. The Gallery is open Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM.
